When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments.

Setting sail therefore from Troas, we made a direct voyage to Samothrace, and the following day to Ne-apolis,

so, passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas.

sorrowing most of all because of the word he had spoken, that they should see his face no more. And they brought him to the ship.

To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are ill-clad and buffeted and homeless,

in toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, in hunger and thirst, often without food, in cold and exposure.
