And you and your sons and your servants shall till the land for him, and shall bring in the produce, that your master's son may have bread to eat; but Mephibosheth your master's son shall always eat at my table.” Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king's table;

as for his allowance, a regular allowance was given him by the king according to his daily need, until the day of his death as long as he lived.

When one of those who sat at table with him heard this, he said to him, “Blessed is he who shall eat bread in the kingdom of God!”
