As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
But when they measured it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; each gathered according to what he could eat.
And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”
