Better is a dry morsel with quiet than a house full of feasting with strife.

The beginning of strife is like letting out water; so quit before the quarrel breaks out.

Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his hands, so that he may be able to give to those in need.

for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way.

Besides that, they learn to be idlers, gadding about from house to house, and not only idlers but gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not.

And let our people learn to apply themselves to good deeds, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not to be unfruitful.

but let it be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable jewel of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.

But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or a wrongdoer, or a mischief-maker;
