When David had finished speaking these words to Saul, Saul said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” And Saul lifted up his voice and wept.

Saul recognized David's voice, and said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” And David said, “It is my voice, my lord, O king.”

But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit with which he spoke.

Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to thy promise!
