And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.

And another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’

He flees because he is a hireling and cares nothing for the sheep.

The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband.

I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, how to please the Lord;

and his interests are divided. And the unmarried woman or girl is anxious about the affairs of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit; but the married woman is anxious about worldly affairs, how to please her husband.

Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.

If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.
