Dear friends, I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share. But I felt that I had to write and urge you to stand up for the faith that God’s holy people have been trusted with once and for all time.

You’ll receive a rich welcome into the kingdom our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His kingdom will last forever.

From Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ. To you who have received a faith as precious as ours and who have been made right with our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Even so, I didn’t have any peace of mind, because I couldn’t find my brother Titus there. So I said goodbye to the believers at Troas and went on to Macedonia.

So grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May he receive glory both now and forever. Amen.

Titus is my helper, and he and I work together among you; our brothers are messengers from the churches who honor Christ.

I want us to encourage one another in the faith that we share.

They told the woman, “At first we believed because of what you said. But now we’ve heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”

When we pray to God, we can be confident of this: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

I want you to remember the words that the holy prophets spoke in the past and the command our Lord and Savior gave through your apostles.

They may have escaped from the corruption of the world, and they may have come to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. But if they get tangled up again in sin, and it becomes their master, then they’re worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

At just the right time, he has revealed this hope through the preaching that he has trusted me to do. God our Savior has commanded all these things.

To God’s holy people in Colossae, the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ. May God our Father give you grace and peace.

May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

But even though Titus, who was with me, was Greek, they didn’t require him to be circumcised.

I asked Titus to go to you, and I sent our brother with him. Titus didn’t take advantage of you, did he? Weren’t he and I guided by the same Spirit to do the very same kinds of things?

Titus has the same concern for you that I do. I thank God for putting that in his heart.

Titus has already started collecting money from you, so we’ve asked him to help you finish making your kind gift.

But God, who comforts those who are discouraged, comforted us by sending Titus.

It is written, “I believed, and so I’ve spoken.” We have that same spirit of faith, and so we also believe and speak.

To all of you in Rome who are loved by God and called to be his holy people. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born for you! He is the Messiah, the Lord.

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.

There’s no longer any Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female, because you’re all one in Christ Jesus.

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord for giving me strength and for considering me faithful and appointing me to serve him.

From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, in keeping with the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus.

Demas has deserted me because he’s in love with this world. He has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia and Titus has gone to Dalmatia.

while we wait for Jesus Christ to appear in his glory. That is our blessed hope. Jesus is our great God and Savior.
