This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ gave his life for us. So we should give our own lives for our brothers and sisters.

He almost died for the work of Christ. He risked his life by coming here to provide the help you couldn’t give me yourselves because you were so far away.

Brothers and sisters, you imitated the members of the synagogues in Judea that believe in Christ Jesus. You suffered from your own people the same things they suffered from the Jews,

Usually someone wouldn’t even die for an honest person, although they might be willing to die for a person of great virtue.

So the churches were strengthened in the faith and the number of believers grew every day.

Paul first went through Syria and Cilicia to strengthen the churches there.

The greatest love that anyone can show is to give up their life for their friends.
