Don’t destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean. But it’s wrong to eat anything that might cause someone else to trip and fall.

“But what if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around their neck and drown at the bottom.

To people who are pure, all things are pure. But to those who have twisted minds and don’t believe, nothing is pure. Their minds and consciences are corrupted.

The voice spoke to him a second time and said, “Don’t say something isn’t pure if God has made it clean.”

It’s better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else that would cause your brother or sister to fall.

What goes into a person’s mouth doesn’t make them unclean. What comes out of their mouth does.”

God made us with his own hands through Christ Jesus for good works, and long ago he prepared them for us as a way of life.

And I’m confident that God, who has begun a good work in you, will carry it on until it’s completed on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another person whose faith is weak doesn’t eat any meat, in case some of it has been offered to idols.
