If someone’s faith is weak, welcome them, but not so that you can argue with them about differences of opinion.

We who are strong should accommodate those who are weak and not please only ourselves.

To those who are weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

Christ has accepted you, so accept one another in order to bring praise to God.

It’s better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else that would cause your brother or sister to fall.

If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t let them stay in your home. Don’t even say hello to them.

Abraham’s faith didn’t become any weaker even when he thought about the fact that he was now too old have children (he was about 100 years old) and that Sarah had never been able to have children.

It would be better for those people to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than for them to lead one of these little ones into sin.

Jesus reached right out with his hand and caught him. “You have such little faith!” he said. “Why did you doubt?”

The people of the island were very kind to us. It was raining and cold, so they built a fire and welcomed all of us.

When they were not accepted, it became possible for the whole world to be brought back to God. So what will happen when they are accepted? It will be like life from the dead.

One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another person whose faith is weak doesn’t eat any meat, in case some of it has been offered to idols.

A person who eats everything must not look down someone who doesn’t. A person who doesn’t eat everything must not judge someone who does. God has accepted them.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, to warn certain people who don’t want to work and who are being disruptive. Encourage those who have lost hope, help those who are weak, and be patient with everyone.

Solid food is for people who have grown up, who have trained themselves to know the difference between good and evil.
