There will be no more night. They won’t need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light. And they will rule for ever and ever.

The Son of Man is going to come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and he will deal with each person according to what they’ve done.

“Father, I want those you’ve given me to be with me where I am. I want them to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the world was created.

And then I saw, in the center of the area around the throne, surrounded by the four living creatures and the elders, a Lamb. He looked as if he had been put to death. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which stand for the seven spirits of God that are sent out into all the earth.

The Lamb in the center of the area around the throne will be their shepherd. ‘He will lead them to springs of living water,’ ‘and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ ”

They hadn’t committed sexual sins; they’d kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among human beings as a first offering to God and the Lamb.
