‘Whoever has ears should listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches. If anyone wins the victory, I’ll give that person some of the hidden manna. I’ll also give each of them a white stone with a new name written on it. Only the one who receives this name will know what it is.’

But God has shown these things to us through his Spirit. The Spirit understands all things, even the deep things of God.

“I’ve told you these things so that you can have peace because of me. In this world you’re going to have trouble. But be encouraged! I’ve already defeated the world.”

Then I saw something that looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire. Those who had won the battle over the beast were standing next to the sea. They had also overcome the beast’s statue and the number of its name. They held harps that God had given them,

Then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die as believers in the Lord from now on.” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “they will rest from their labor, and they’ll be rewarded for what they’ve done.”

Then Jesus said, “Whoever understands should take this to heart.”

Still other seed fell on good soil. It grew up and produced 100 times more seeds than were planted.” After Jesus had said this, he called out, “Whoever understands should take this to heart.”

Fathers, I’m writing to you because you know the one who is from the beginning. Young men, I’m writing to you because you’ve won the battle over the evil one.
