I looked, and there in front of me was a white cloud. Someone who looked “like a son of man” was sitting on the cloud, and he was wearing a gold crown on his head. In his hand was a sharp, curved sickle for cutting crops.

and in the middle of them I saw someone who looked “like a son of man.” He was dressed in a long robe and he had a gold strip of cloth around his chest.

But we can see that Jesus has already been crowned with glory and honor because he suffered and died. He was made lower than the angels for a little while so that by the grace of God he could taste death for everyone.

At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, and I’m very pleased with him. Listen to him!”

I looked, and there in front of me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow in his hands. He was given a crown, and he rode off to conquer.

“Look! He’s coming with the clouds!” “Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him.” All the nations of the earth “will mourn because of him.” This will happen! Amen.

I saw a great white throne, and I saw the one who was sitting on it. When the earth and sky saw his face, they ran away and disappeared.

His eyes are like blazing fire, and he has many crowns on his head. He has a name written on him that only he knows.

They said, “We give you thanks, Lord God Almighty, the God who is and who was, because you’ve taken your great power and you’ve begun to rule.

Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was wearing a cloud like a robe and there was a rainbow above his head. His face was like the sun, and his legs were like pillars of fire.

As soon as the grain ripens, the farmer brings it in, because the harvest is ready.”

Then I’ll tell the workers, “First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned. Then gather the wheat and put it in my barn.” ’ ”
