This beast had all the authority of the first beast, and it carried out its wishes. It made the earth and everyone who lives on it worship the first beast. The first beast was the one whose deadly wound had been healed.

They hadn’t worshiped the beast or its statue, and they hadn’t received its mark on their foreheads or hands. They came to life and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years.
