Don’t worry about anything, but in every situation, pray and give thanks to God and ask him to help you.

The end of all things is near. So be alert and stay sober so that you can pray.

The seed that fell among the thorns stands for those who hear the message but then have it crowded out by the worries of this life and the false promises of wealth, which keep it from producing fruit.

Were you a slave when God called you? Don’t let that trouble you, although if you can gain your freedom, you should do that.

Don’t worry about tomorrow—let it worry about itself. Each day has enough troubles of its own.

First, I want you to pray for all people. Give thanks for them and ask God to help and bless them.

A widow who truly needs help and is left all alone puts her hope in God. She keeps on praying night and day and asking God for help.
