No one should look out only for their own interests. Instead, they should look out for the interests of others.

Then Jesus told his disciples, “All those who want to be my disciples must say ‘no’ to themselves, pick up their crosses, and follow me.

Don’t look out just for your own good. Instead, look out for the good of others.

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, braggers, proud, abusive, and disobedient to their parents. They won’t be thankful or holy,

Follow my example. I try to please everyone in every way. I’m not looking out for what’s good for me. I’m looking out for the interests of others, so that they might be saved.
