Truly I tell you, heaven and earth will disappear before the smallest letter disappears from the Law. Not even the smallest mark of a pen will disappear until everything the Law says happens.
Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself. He can do only what he sees his Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does,
He answered, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Truly I tell you, many prophets and godly people wanted to see what you’re seeing, but they didn’t see it, and they wanted to hear what you’re hearing, but they didn’t hear it.
If people attack you in one place, escape to another. Truly I tell you, you won’t finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
“When you give to people in need, don’t announce it by having trumpets blown in front of you. That’s what the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets because they want people to notice them. Truly I tell you, that’s all the reward they’ll get.
Truly I tell you, when you were younger, you dressed yourself and went wherever you wanted to go. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will dress you and lead you where you don’t want to go.”
Truly I tell you, anyone who believes in me will do the works that I’ve been doing. In fact, they’ll do even greater things, because I’m going to the Father.
Then Jesus answered, “Will you really give your life for me? Truly I tell you, before the rooster crows early tomorrow morning, you’re going to say three times that you don’t know me!
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, it isn’t Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, it’s my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven.
Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you, you’re not looking for me because you saw the signs I did. You’re looking for me because you ate as much bread as you wanted.
“Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to them, “if anyone has left their home or wife or husband or brothers or sisters or parents or children for God’s kingdom,
Truly I tell you, if that master finds his servants watching for him when he comes, he’ll do something special for them. He’ll dress to serve them, have them take their places at the table, and come and wait on them.
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea,’ if they don’t doubt in their heart but believe that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
“Do you see all this?” Jesus asked. “Truly I tell you, there won’t be one stone left here on top of another. Every building will be torn down, to the last stone.”
“Which of the two sons did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, tax collectors and prostitutes will enter the kingdom of God ahead of you.
Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do what was done to the fig tree. You can even say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, when all things are made new and the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, then you who have followed me will also sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel.
Truly I tell you, no one greater than John the Baptist has ever been born in this world. But the one who’s least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he is.
When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. He said to the people following him, “Truly I tell you, I haven’t met anyone in Israel whose faith is this great.
“When you go without eating, don’t look all sad like the hypocrites. They make strange faces so that people will notice that they’re fasting. Truly I tell you, that’s all the reward they’ll get.
