Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every illness and sickness.

So he traveled all around Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and casting out demons.

You know how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were under the devil’s power, because God was with him.

Then Jesus replied to the messengers, “Go back to John and tell him what you have seen and heard: People who are blind receive their sight, those who are disabled walk, those with skin diseases are made clean, those who are deaf hear, those who have died are restored to life, and the good news is announced to the poor.

Those who are blind are receiving their sight, those who are disabled are walking, those with skin diseases are being made clean, those who are deaf are hearing, and the dead are being raised to life. And the good news is preached to those who are poor.

He came to his hometown of Nazareth and began teaching the people in their synagogue. They were amazed and they asked, “Where did this man get so much wisdom? Where did he get the power to do miracles?

They went to Capernaum, and when the Sabbath day came, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.

And how can anyone preach to them without being sent? It is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

After this, Jesus traveled around from one town and village to another, announcing the good news of God’s kingdom. His 12 disciples were with him,

On the Sabbath day, he began to teach in the synagogue. Many who heard him were amazed. “Where did this man get these things?” they asked. “What’s this wisdom that has been given to him? What are these remarkable miracles that he’s doing? Isn’t this the carpenter?

This good news of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus went on from that place and entered a synagogue.

“I’ve spoken openly to the world,” Jesus answered. “I’ve always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I haven’t said anything in secret.

Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on a Sabbath day.

But the crowds found out about it and went there too. Jesus welcomed them, spoke to them about God’s kingdom, and healed those who were sick.

One day when Jesus was teaching, some Pharisees and teachers of the law were among those sitting there and listening to him. They’d come from every village in Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick.

He was amazed at their lack of faith. Then Jesus went around from village to village teaching.

Jesus had healed many people, so those who were still sick were pushing forward to try to touch him.

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, and there he preached the good news of God.

“I spent a lot of time with you preaching about the kingdom, but now I know that none of you will ever see me again.

Every Sabbath day he went to the synagogue and tried to persuade both Jews and Greeks to believe.

He said this while he was teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Heal the sick who are there and tell everyone, ‘God’s kingdom has come near you.’

Jesus came down from the mountain with these men and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there, along with a large number of other people from all over Judea, including Jerusalem, and from the coastland around Tyre and Sidon.

When Jesus got to shore, he found a large crowd waiting for him. Moved with compassion for them, he healed their sick people.

When people hear the message about the kingdom, but they don’t understand it, the evil one comes and steals what was planted in their hearts. Those people are like the seed that landed on the path.

He said, “Turn away from your sins! The kingdom of heaven is near.”

After this, Jesus traveled around in Galilee. He didn’t want to travel around in Judea because the Jewish leaders there were looking for a way to kill him.

One day Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courtyard and announcing the good news to them. The chief priests, the teachers of the law, and the elders came up to him.

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Holy Spirit. News about him spread through the whole countryside.

On another Sabbath day, Jesus went into the synagogue and began teaching. A man was there whose right hand was weak and twisted.

At that time Jesus healed many people who had illnesses, sicknesses, and evil spirits, and he restored the sight of many who were blind.

Jesus said to him, “Let those who are dead bury their own dead; you go and tell others about God’s kingdom.”

“The Law and the Prophets were preached until John the Baptist came. Since then, the good news of God’s kingdom is being preached, and everyone is trying hard to enter the kingdom.

He proclaimed the kingdom of God boldly and taught people about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one kept him from teaching and preaching about those things.
