Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead! He will go ahead of you to Galilee, and you’ll see him there.’ It will be as I’ve told you.”
Later Jesus appeared to the 11 disciples as they were eating. He had strong words for them for being so unbelieving and hard-hearted. He told them they should have believed the people who’d seen him after he rose from the dead.
Even worse, that would make us false witnesses about God, because we testified that God raised Christ from the dead. But God didn’t do that if the dead aren’t really raised.
These women had traveled with Jesus in Galilee and taken care of his needs. Other women had also come up with him to Jerusalem, and many of them were there too.
