“You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you that after this you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One, coming on the clouds of heaven.”

“I am,” Jesus replied. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One, coming on the clouds of heaven.”

The Son is the brilliance of God’s glory and the exact likeness of God’s being. He holds everything together by his powerful word. Once he had provided the way for people to be made pure from sin, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

“Look! He’s coming with the clouds!” “Every eye will see him, even those who pierced him.” All the nations of the earth “will mourn because of him.” This will happen! Amen.

And let’s keep looking to Jesus. He’s the one who leads us into faith and the one who makes our faith mature. Because of the joy he was looking forward to, he didn’t let the shame of being put to death on a cross stop him. He suffered on the cross, and then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven. Then all the peoples of the earth will mourn, when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Judas, the one who was going to hand him over, said, “You don’t mean me, do you, Rabbi?” Jesus answered, “You have said so.”

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels come with him, he will sit on his glorious throne

The Son of Man is going to come with his angels in his Father’s glory, and he will deal with each person according to what they’ve done.

I saw a great white throne, and I saw the one who was sitting on it. When the earth and sky saw his face, they ran away and disappeared.

The Lord himself will come down from heaven shouting a command, with the voice of the chief angel, and with a blast from God’s trumpet. Then those who believed in Christ but have already died will rise first.

“Men of Galilee,” they asked, “why are you standing here looking at the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come back just as you saw him go.”

“So you’re a king, then!” said Pilate. Jesus answered, “You say that I’m a king. The reason I was born and came into the world was to be a witness to the truth. Everyone who is on the side of truth listens to me.”

They all asked, “Then are you the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”

Meanwhile Jesus was being questioned publicly by the governor Pilate. He asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

So then, who are you to judge your brother or sister? Why do you act as if you’re better than they are? We will all stand before God as our judge.

Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

“Truly I tell you, some who are standing here right now will not die before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

“ ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.” ’

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”
