Matthew 20:34

Jesus felt deep concern for them, so he went over and touched their eyes. Right away they became able to see, and they followed him.

to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to God. I want them to have their sins forgiven and find a place among God’s people by believing in me.’

Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding, love one another, be kind and tender, be humble.

But Jesus answered, “Stop this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

When the Lord saw her, he felt compassion for her and said, “Don’t cry.”

Jesus took the man to one side, away from the crowd. He put his fingers into the man’s ears, and then he spit and touched the man’s tongue.

Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I’m concerned for these people because they’ve already been with me for three days and they’ve run out of food to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, because if I do, they may be too weak to make it back home.”

When Jesus got to shore, he found a large crowd waiting for him. Moved with compassion for them, he healed their sick people.

Then he touched their eyes and said, “May it happen to you just as you have believed.”

Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve him.

Right away he became able to see and he followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw this, they also praised God.

When he saw the crowds, he felt deep concern for them, because they looked ragged and bewildered, like sheep without a shepherd.

So he had to be made like them—fully human in every way. That way he could serve God as a merciful and faithful high priest and purify the people from their sins.

“Lord,” they answered, “we want to be able to see.”

As they approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two disciples,
