“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only one who is good. If you want to enter the kingdom, obey the commandments.”

Moses writes about how the law could help a person do what God requires: “The person who does these things will live by them.”

And so we know and depend on the love that God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God lives in them.

Every good and perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the Father who created the heavenly lights. He doesn’t change like shadows that move.
