When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the area of Judea that’s on the other side of the Jordan River.

Then Jesus went back across the Jordan River to the place where John had been baptizing in the early days. He stayed there

When Jesus had finished saying all these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea while Herod was king. Wise men then came from the east to Jerusalem
