Shouldn’t you have had mercy on the other servant, just as I had mercy on you?’

Put up with one another and, if you’re holding something against someone, forgive each other, just as the Lord forgave you.

Instead, be kind and merciful to one another. Forgive one another, just as God has forgiven you in Christ.

and forgive our sins, just as we forgive those who sin against us.

Blessed are those who show mercy, because they will be shown mercy.

The master was so angry that handed him over to the jailers to be punished until he paid back everything he owed.
