Aren’t all the angels spirits that God sends to serve those who will inherit salvation?

“When the time came for the beggar to die, the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his chosen people from the north, south, east, and west—from one end of the sky to the other.

The angel said to him, “I am Gabriel! I’m the angel who stands right next to God! I’ve been sent to speak to you and tell you this good news.

It’s the same with your Father in heaven. He doesn’t want any of these little ones to be lost.

“But what if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around their neck and drown at the bottom.

After the wise men had left, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up!” the angel said. “Take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt! Stay there until I tell you to come back, because Herod is going to try to find the child and kill him.”

But as Joseph was thinking about this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. The angel said, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary home as your wife. The baby inside her is from the Holy Spirit.

If anyone refuses to accept this teaching, they’re not rejecting a human being. They’re rejecting God, the very same God who gives you his Holy Spirit.

Don’t you have your own homes to eat and drink in? Or do you think so little of God’s church that you’re prepared to humiliate those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? Certainly not about this!

So don’t let anyone treat him with disrespect. Send him on his way in peace so he can return to me. I’m expecting him to come back along with the others.

So then, who are you to judge your brother or sister? Why do you act as if you’re better than they are? We will all stand before God as our judge.

Last night an angel of the God I belong to and serve stood beside me.

Because Herod didn’t admit that he wasn’t God, an angel of the Lord struck him down. He was eaten by worms and died.

“You’re out of your mind,” they responded. But she kept insisting it was true. So they decided, “It must be his angel.”

One day about three o’clock in the afternoon he had a vision. He saw an angel of God coming to him and saying, “Cornelius!”

But during the night an angel of the Lord came and opened the doors of the jail and let the apostles out.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you’re a young person. Instead, set an example for the believers in what you say and in how you live, how you love, and in what you believe. Show the believers how to be pure.

To those who are weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.

We who are strong should accommodate those who are weak and not please only ourselves.

It’s better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else that would cause your brother or sister to fall.

Then I saw seven trumpets being given to the seven angels who stand in front of God.

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, then you who live by the Spirit should correct that person. But do it in a gentle way, and be careful, because you could be tempted too.

Some say, “In his letters, he sounds important and forceful, but in person he’s not very impressive, and he’s not a good speaker.”

I appeal to you by the humbleness and gentleness of Christ—I, Paul, the one you think is timid when I’m face to face with you, but bold when I’m away from you.

“Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever does not accept you does not accept me. But whoever does not accept me does not accept the one who sent me.”

He won’t break a bent twig, and he won’t snuff out a smoldering wick. He’ll make right win over wrong,

Christ didn’t enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one. He entered heaven itself in order to appear before God on our behalf. He’s there right now.
