But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said, “don’t be afraid.”

But Jesus called out to them right away, “Don’t worry; it’s me! Don’t be afraid.”

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as if I were dead. But he put his right hand on me and said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m the First and the Last,

Now get up and go into the city. You’ll be told there what you must do.”

The women were terrified and bowed down with their faces to the ground. But the men said to them, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead?

When the disciples heard this, they were terrified and fell with their faces to the ground.

When they looked up, no one was there except Jesus.
