Jesus warned them sternly not to tell this to anyone.

The first thing Andrew did was find his brother Simon and tell him, “We’ve found the Messiah!” (Messiah means Christ.)

On the way down the mountain, Jesus told them, “Don’t tell anyone what you’ve seen until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

Once the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept quiet about this and didn’t tell anyone at that time what they had seen.

Then Jesus said to him, “Don’t tell anyone about this. But go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a witness to everyone.”

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his child as well.

Who is the liar? It’s anyone who says that Jesus isn’t the Christ. Any person who says this is the great enemy of Christ.

“So be sure of this, all you Israelites. God has made Jesus, the one you nailed to the cross, both Lord and Messiah.”

But these signs have been written down so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing, you may have life in his name.

Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We’ve found the one Moses wrote about in the Law. The prophets wrote about him too. It’s Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone what they’d seen. He told them to wait until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Jacob was the father of Joseph. Joseph was the husband of Mary, who was the mother of Jesus, who is called the Messiah.

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born for you! He is the Messiah, the Lord.

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God who has come into the world.”
