Jesus replied to him, “Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?”

“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. Anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Jesus became wiser and stronger, and he pleased both God and all the people more and more.

So from now on we don’t look at anyone from the world’s point of view. Once we even looked at Christ that way, but we don’t anymore.

“Why were you looking for me?” he replied. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside and they want to speak to you.”

Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here is my mother! Here are my brothers!
