So we are Christ’s official messengers. It’s as if God were making his appeal through us. So we beg you, on Christ’s behalf: Come back to God!

You know the message that God sent to the people of Israel. It’s the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Instead, I hope to see you soon so we can talk face to face.

When you enter a town or village, look for a person who’s willing to welcome you, and stay at their house until you leave.

If the home deserves it, your peace will rest upon it; if it doesn’t deserve it, your peace will return to you.
