When Jesus saw that a crowd was running over to see what was happening, he ordered the evil spirit to leave the boy. “You spirit that makes him unable to hear and speak,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

She kept this up for many days. Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and spoke to the spirit that was in her. “In the name of Jesus Christ,” he said, “I command you to come out of her!” At that very moment the spirit left the woman.

Even as the boy was coming, the demon threw him into a fit, and he fell to the ground. But Jesus ordered the evil spirit to leave the boy. He healed him and gave him back to his father.

When all the people saw Jesus, they were filled with wonder and they ran to greet him.

Jesus ordered the demon to leave the boy, and the demon came out of him. He was healed at that moment.

But even Michael, the leader of the angels, didn’t dare to say anything insulting about the devil. They were arguing about who would get the body of Moses. Michael just said, “May the Lord stop you!”

Jesus was driving out a demon that had kept a man from speaking. When the demon left, the man was able to speak, and the crowd was amazed.

The evil spirit was saying this because Jesus had commanded it to come out of the man. Many times it had taken hold of him, so that even though his hands and feet were chained and he was kept under guard, he was able to break his chains. Then the demon would force him to go out into lonely places in the countryside.

Demons also came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he commanded them to be quiet, and he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.

“Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down in front of everybody, but it came out without hurting him.

Then they brought Jesus a man who was controlled by demons that kept him from speaking or seeing. Jesus healed the man so that he could speak and see.

“I do believe!” the boy’s father cried out. “Help me overcome my unbelief!”

The spirit screamed and shook the boy wildly, then it came out of him. The boy looked so lifeless that many people said, “He’s dead.”
