When they come home from the market, they have to take a bath before they can eat anything. And they follow many other teachings too. For example, they wash cups, pitchers, and kettles in a special way.
They deal only with food and drink and different kinds of ceremonial washings, which are rules about the outside of a person. They had to be followed only until the new covenant came.
