Then Jesus asked them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass.

But everything should be done in a proper and orderly way.

God is not a God of disorder; he’s a God of peace, as in all the churches of the Lord’s people.

Jesus told the crowd to sit down on the ground.

“How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Go and see.” When they found out, they told him, “Five loaves, and two fish.”

So everyone sat down in groups of 100 or 50.

(About 5,000 men were there.) But Jesus said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about 50 each.”

Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass for everyone to sit on. Only counting the men, there were about 5,000 in the crowd.
