Then Jesus said to him, “Don’t tell anyone about this. But go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a witness to everyone.”

Jesus ordered the people not to tell anyone. But the more he did, the more they kept talking about it.

Jesus sent him away with a strong warning.

Then they could see. Jesus warned them sternly, “Make sure that no one knows about this.”

Right away the girl, who was 12 years old, stood up and began to walk around. They were totally amazed at this.

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone what they’d seen. He told them to wait until the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
