“Who touched me?” Jesus asked. Everybody insisted they hadn’t done it. Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pushing against you.”

Late in the afternoon the 12 disciples came to him. They said, “Send the crowd away so they can go to the nearby villages and countryside and find food to eat and a place to stay, because there’s nothing here.”

So Jesus went with him. A large group of people came along with them, and they were crowding all around Jesus.

Jesus knew right away that some power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

But Jesus kept looking around to see who had touched him.
