Because the crowd was so big, Jesus told his disciples to get a small boat ready for him so the people wouldn’t crush him.

Jesus saw that they were about to come and make him be their king whether he wanted to or not. So he went away again to a mountain by himself.

Jesus knew right away that some power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?”

Jesus sent the crowd away, and then he got into the boat and went to the area near Magadan.

Jesus began to teach again by the Sea of Galilee. A very large crowd gathered around him, so he got into a boat and sat in it out on the lake while all the people stayed along the shore at the water’s edge.

Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along in the boat just as he was. Other boats came along as well.

When Jesus got out of the boat, a man controlled by an evil spirit came out of the tombs to meet him.

So they headed off by themselves in a boat to a quiet place.

One day when Jesus was standing by the Sea of Galilee, all the people crowded around him to listen to the word of God.

He got into one of the boats, which belonged to a man named Simon. Jesus asked him to pull out a little way from shore. Then he sat down in the boat and taught the people.
