Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. They stood outside and sent someone in to get him.

When his family heard about this, they came to get him, because they thought, “He’s out of his mind.”

Jesus said this because the teachers of the law were saying, “He has an evil spirit.”

A crowd was sitting around Jesus and they told him, “Your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you.”
