Some men brought him one of their friends who couldn’t walk and was lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, “Don’t be discouraged, son. Your sins are forgiven.”

The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well, and the Lord will heal them. If they’ve sinned, they’ll be forgiven.

When Jesus turned and saw her, he said, “Don’t be discouraged, daughter. Your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that very moment.

God’s grace has saved you because of your faith in Christ. It’s not from you; it’s God’s gift.

God has lifted Jesus up and given him a place of honor at his right hand, making him Prince and Savior so he can turn Israel away from their sins and forgive them.

Later Jesus found him at the temple and told him, “Now that you’re well again, don’t sin anymore, or something worse might happen to you.”

When Jesus saw how much faith they had, he said to the man, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

Put up with one another and, if you’re holding something against someone, forgive each other, just as the Lord forgave you.

But now, anyone you forgive, I also forgive. And what I’ve forgiven—whatever there is to forgive—I’ve forgiven for your sakes, knowing that Christ is watching.

That’s why many of you are weak and sick, and a number of you have died.

He was listening while Paul was speaking. Paul looked right at him and saw that he had the faith to be healed.

Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith. When he arrived and saw what God’s grace had done, he was very happy. He told them all to remain true to the Lord with their whole hearts. Even more people came to know the Lord.

He didn’t need anyone to tell him what people are like, because he already knew what’s inside of a person.

Then he said to her, “My daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

He said to her, “My daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or, ‘Get up and walk’?
