Jesus replied, “I’ll ask you a question, and if you answer me, I’ll tell you by what authority I’m doing these things.

“By what authority are you doing these things? Who gave you authority to do this?”

Where did John’s baptism come from? Was it from heaven, or was he acting on human authority? Tell me!”
