She stood behind Jesus and cried at his feet, then she began to wet his feet with her tears. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and poured perfume on them.
He went into the villages, the towns, and the countryside, and everywhere he went, people brought the sick to the marketplaces. Those who were sick begged him to let them touch just a tassel on his clothes, and anyone who did so was healed.
People brought those who were sick into the streets on beds and mats. They were hoping that Peter’s shadow might at least touch some of them as he walked by.
