Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath day.”

Then Jesus told them, “The Sabbath day was made for man. Man wasn’t made for the Sabbath day.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard a loud voice behind me that sounded like a trumpet.

Then a cloud appeared and covered them. A voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him!”

he went into the house of God and took the holy bread. He ate the bread that only priests were allowed to eat, and he even gave it to his men.”

On another Sabbath day, Jesus went into the synagogue and began teaching. A man was there whose right hand was weak and twisted.
