When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet. He shouted at the top of his voice, “Jesus, Son of the Most High God, what do you want with me? I beg you, don’t torture me!”
I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I’d heard them and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who’d been showing them to me.
Then the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down in front of the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense. These bowls stand for the prayers of God’s people.
The wise men went into the house, and there they saw the child with his mother Mary. They bowed down and worshiped him, and then they opened their treasure chests and gave him gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
