Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a band of armed men against you? Did you have to come with swords and clubs?
So the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles back. But they didn’t use force, because they were afraid that if they did, the people would stone them.
While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe through the name you gave me. Not one of them has been lost, except the one headed for destruction, so that Scripture would come true.

While Jesus was still speaking, Judas, who was one of the 12 disciples, arrived. He had a group of men with him who were carrying swords and clubs. The chief priests and elders of the people had sent them.
It is written, ‘He was counted among those who had committed crimes.’ I tell you that what is written about me must come true. In fact, it is already coming true.”
