When the time came, Jesus and his apostles took their places at the table.

When evening came, Jesus was at the table with his 12 disciples.

When evening came, Jesus arrived with the 12 disciples.

The apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they’d done and taught.

Peter and John left, and they found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover meal.

He said to them, “I have really looked forward to eating this Passover meal with you. I wanted to do this before I suffered.
