Scripture says that he is “ ‘the stone you builders did not accept, which has become the most important stone of all.’

Jesus said to them, “Haven’t you ever read this in the Scriptures? “ ‘The stone the builders wouldn’t accept has become the most important stone of all. The Lord has done this, and it’s wonderful in our eyes.’

Haven’t you read what this part of Scripture says? “ ‘The stone that the builders didn’t accept has become the most important stone of all.

It is written, ‘He was counted among those who had committed crimes.’ I tell you that what is written about me must come true. In fact, it is already coming true.”

This has happened to make what’s written in their Law come true. It says, ‘They hated me without any reason.’

Jesus said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you. Everything that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must come true.”

The Lord turned and looked right at Peter. Then Peter remembered what the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”

Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for rich people to enter the kingdom of God!”

Jesus looked around at all of them angrily. He was upset because their hearts were so stubborn. Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” When he stretched it out, his hand became as good as new.

As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he began to weep.

You’re a building that’s being built on the apostles and prophets as its foundation. Christ Jesus himself is the cornerstone that has been laid down first

In Scripture it says, “Look! I’m placing a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone. The one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”
