The Pharisee who had invited Jesus saw this. He said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him—what kind of woman she is. She’s a sinner!”
But when the Son of Man came, he did eat and drink, but you said, ‘He always eats and drinks way too much, and he has tax collectors and sinners for friends.’
But at dinner, Zacchaeus stood up and said, “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of what I own to the poor. And if I have cheated anybody out of anything, I will pay back four times the amount I took.”
