What you’ve said in the dark will be heard in the daylight; what you’ve whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the rooftops.

Repeat in the daylight what I tell you in the dark, and shout from the rooftops what is whispered in your ear.

I tell you that everyone will have to account on judgment day for every word they’ve spoken that hasn’t done any good.

No one who’s on a housetop should go down into the house to take anything out.
