When Jesus had finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him to eat with him. So Jesus went in and took his place at the table.

One of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, so he went to the Pharisee’s house and took his place at the table.

One Sabbath day, Jesus went to eat in the house of a well-known Pharisee. While he was there, he was being carefully watched.

If your whole body is full of light and no part of it is dark, then your body will be full of light, just as when a lamp shines its light on you.”

But the Pharisee was surprised that Jesus did not wash before the meal.
