Truly I tell you, we speak about what we know, and we’re witnesses about what we’ve seen. But you people still don’t accept our testimony.

“Who are you?” they asked. “Just what I’ve been telling you from the beginning,” Jesus replied.

They didn’t understand that Jesus was telling them about his Father.

“I’ve spoken openly to the world,” Jesus answered. “I’ve always taught in synagogues or at the temple, where all the Jews come together. I haven’t said anything in secret.
