Certain people have secretly slipped in among you. Long ago it was written that they would be found guilty. They’re ungodly people who misuse the grace of our God as an excuse for sexual sins. They deny Jesus Christ, our only Lord and King.

Long ago God planned that Jesus would be handed over to you. With the help of those who didn’t know God’s law, and under the plan God spoke long ago, you put him to death by nailing him to a cross.

Jesus answered, “It’s the one I’ll give this piece of bread to after I’ve dipped it in the dish.” He dipped the bread in the dish and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

Here are the names of the 12 apostles. First, Simon (also called Peter) and his brother Andrew; then James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John;

Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the 12 disciples, went to the chief priests and offered to hand Jesus over to them.

and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding.

But there are some of you who don’t believe.” Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who was going to hand him over to his enemies.

Then Jesus replied, “Haven’t I chosen you 12 disciples? But one of you is a devil!”

But one of the disciples, Judas Iscariot, who would later hand Jesus over to his enemies, complained about what Mary did. He asked,

They were having their evening meal. The devil had already put in the mind of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, the scheme of handing Jesus over to his enemies.

Thomas, one of the 12 disciples (he was also called Didymus), wasn’t with the others when Jesus came.
