I’ve come in my Father’s name, and you haven’t accepted me. But if someone else comes in his own name, you accept him.

Jesus answered, “I did say so, but you didn’t believe me. The works that I do in my Father’s name are a witness for me.

Many people will come claiming to be me and saying, ‘I’m the Messiah!’ They’ll get many people to follow them.

I haven’t come down from heaven to do my own will; I’ve come to do the will of the one who sent me.

Father, bring glory to your name!” Then a voice came from heaven and said, “I have brought glory to my name, and I will bring glory to it again.”

False messiahs and false prophets will appear, and they’ll do great signs and miracles. They’ll even try to trick God’s chosen people if they can.

God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son so that anyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life.

“Aren’t you that Egyptian who started a revolt and led 4,000 terrorists out into the desert some time ago?”

and I know that you don’t have the love of God in your hearts.
